Malaga Tourism, a body at the Malaga City Council, has increased its deployment of new technologies by going digital when informing about events and tourist routes.

The Aracast digital signpost system has joined forces with social networks and web pages to offer tourist information on Malaga.
The display screens provide dynamic information for tourists about activities, festivals and attractions held in the city. By using different template formats, the information displayed is alternated with videos, presentations, images and texts with the dates for shows and events.

All the information is managed remotely from a computer located in the department of tourism of Malaga. This is where the content and the on and off times of the monitors is sent to the displays located in the hotels. In this way, the tourism department is able to manage the displays and monitors remotely without the need for additional staff.
