BGL Audiovisual, part of the technological modernization of La 7 TV
BGL has participated in all phases of an ambitious technological update process of La 7 Region of Murcia, the only autonomous chain managed on a private basis, from the initial approach to start-up. The audiovisual engineering company, which is part of Secuoya Content Group, has carried out the modernization of the news writing and editing, archiving, continuity, advertising and traffic systems within the framework of the La7 concession contract that began in 2022. after having been the company in charge of its initial installation in 2015.
This process has included the renewal of computer equipment, both servers and user equipment, and the interconnection network electronics, forming in the news editorial team an integrated system for writing, editing and broadcasting the news both on the channel traditional television as well as on the web and social networks. And creating a collaborative work platform between the areas of broadcasting, advertising, continuity and archive, each one using its own tools but linked to the other areas to improve common work.
The news set has been renovated with a 17 meter by 2.5 meter curved LED screen from Alfalite and a control system that allows the reproduction of both graphic and video content, in addition to changing the lighting spotlights to spotlights. More energy efficient LED.
A virtual set has been equipped with three Panasonic 4K robotic cameras and three servers with VR technology from Pixotope. Likewise, the ENG cameras have been renewed for new latest generation Sony models.
35 Mobility Journalist systems have been acquired for the production of news on reporters' mobile devices, with all types of accessories, allowing mobility when creating remote content through the latest technology.
All the technology, modernization and updating required in this project turns La 7 into a technological benchmark within the regional chains. The project has great added value, thanks to its integration capacity and transversal solutions for archiving, continuity and programming processes.
In addition to the installation and commissioning of all the mentioned equipment, BGL works with La 7 for its maintenance, ensuring the proper functioning and efficiency of the equipment.
