3-2-1 Olympic and Sports Museum (Doha, Qatar)

To celebrate this special sport event, the FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar has created an exhibition space attached to the Khalifa Stadium under the design of the Spanish architect Joan Sibina.

We can find spaces like “Olympic Theatre”. The mentioned gallery offers an immersive 180º curve screening, with the peculiarity of a central part with multilayer technology. There are four screenings layer that give us the feeling of depth.

There is also another gallery, where we can see in the middle of the room a big vessel with this projection that comes from inside, so the images are rounding the vessel just before it breaks the space ending up into another screening in the top ceiling.

There is a tour along the Olympics Games history that starts showing every torch used in each competition. The gallery has a special lightning, every torch got a backlight, accompanied with highly directional sound so you can hear the particular history independently.
